We are off to Silver City and Lake Roberts in New Mexico tomorrow am. This is a photo trip and an opportunity to see New Mexico in the winter time. We have recently returned from Tucson, Arizona. Our editorial on this great city will soon be online.

New Years!

We wish everyone a terrific New Year--a safe, healthy, happy and prosperous one! For us, we are hard at work re-vamping our website and getting ready for the first broadcast of our new internet radio show. We call it Champagne Sundays and it will be "live" every Sunday from 11 am to 1 pm PST. On our show we will interview people we have met on our roadtrips throughout the Southwest USA. If you visit our site, SouthwestBlend.com, you will see that we have covered quite a bit of territory--but we have a lot more to go. We cover the Southwest one cactus (and one margarita) at a time.

We live in Twentynine Palms, California--out in the high desert area next to Joshua Tree National Park. It is beautiful this time a year, super sunrises and sunsets, but very cold and sometimes way too windy. We have discovered hot chocolate and rum, thanks to a cowboy friend of ours, to help us through the cold nights....
